
Mapheyeledi Sibindlana holds a PhD in occupational therapy/science. She is also the founder and director of Root_Fed Consultancy, a spiritually based coaching and counselling practice. Her research is concerned with understanding violence from a critical-decolonial perspective, especially as this pertains to experiences of injustice, and the consequences for health and wellbeing. She served as a senior lecturer in the division of occupational therapy at the University of Cape Town, and most recently as head of people in the edtech industry. She is passionate about research and is excited to learn and grow as a postdoctoral fellow at the Africa Centre for Inclusive Health Management.
