4.5 Focus group sessions and stakeholder engagement
Two focus group sessions were held in July and October 2024 to gather input from alumni, academic
staff and external stakeholders. These sessions provided insight into programme design, aligning the
centre’s academic offerings with the needs of the health management sector.
4.6 Governance and leadership renewal
The centre established a new governing board to oversee the implementation of its strategic
framework and advise on its activities. Additionally, a substantive director was appointed to provide
stable leadership and drive the centre’s mission forward. Two board meetings were held in June and
December 2024. Below is a list of the Africa Centre’s board members as of December 2024:
