Governing board

The governing board supports the Africa Centre’s work by providing mission-based leadership and overseeing the centre’s strategic management, including advising on relevant opportunities, threats and risks; learning-teaching assessment, research and community interaction; and innovative systems and processes for effective strategy implementation. It consists of two permanent members (of which the Africa Centre’s director is one) and six to eight non-permanent members.
